President's Report

Hello Nor'easters,

Fall is definitely upon us...mornings are cool, days are warm and the Red Sox are in the playoffs. We are all back to our routines (if we ever actually have a routine). Summer vacations are over, kids are back in school and proposals are being managed.

I encourage you to take a moment out of your routine and join the Nor'easters at our first dinner event of the fall. Jon Myerov is going to share his insights into the importance of tracking and using proposal metrics. Understanding what to measure and how to use that information will lead to more efficient processes and greater wins. Come together for networking with people who understand what you are go through every day, a delicious meal and an informative, collaborative conversation sharing leading practices.

Join us on Tuesday, October 18th from 6-9 PM at the Mariott Newton Boston - the evening will not disappoint. Details can be found on both the home page and the events page!!

We still have a couple of open positions on the Board of Directors and are looking for Nor'easters who are eager to join the team.  Please reach out (mike.walsh@ey.com) if you are interested in helping shape the future of your chapter. I would be happy to answer any other questions you might have.

I am looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks and keep your eye on the weather...right now it looks like Hurricane Matthew is going to avoid New England, but these things change day to day, so stay alert.  As always...

Do great things,

Mike
